Laura M. Tamburin, M.D.
Dr. Tamburin is originally from Williamsburg, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans and graduated summa cum laude with a major in biology and a minor in French. She was also a member of the Tulane women’s tennis team for four years. Dr. Tamburin attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She remained at UAB for an internship in internal medicine followed by a residency in dermatology. Her residency training included extensive study of medical and surgical dermatology. She also received formal training in many cosmetic procedures including the injection of Botox® and the use of fillers. Dr. Tamburin is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a member of the Dermatology Foundation Leaders Society which funds research in dermatology. She has practiced dermatology in Dothan since 2002. Her practice focus includes all health issues of the skin. She is married to Jeff, a pediatrician, and has three children. She enjoys family, reading, running, biking, and travel.
Tonia L. Ruddock, M.D.
Dr. Ruddock was born and raised in Indiana. She graduated from Indiana university with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She attended medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Ruddock completed her internship in internal medicine and her dermatology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Ruddock is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama. She is also a member of the Alabama Dermatology Society. Dr. Ruddock is experienced in the treatment of skin cancer, acne, moles, warts, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and other conditions that affect the skin. In addition to medical and surgical dermatology, she also specializes in cosmetic improvement of the skin. Some of the procedures offered by Dr. Ruddock include Botox® and skincare consultations. Dr. Ruddock has practiced dermatology in Dothan since 2004. She enjoys family, reading, exercise, and outdoor activities. She is married with two children.
Dana Culpepper, PA-C
Dana Culpepper is a Certified Physician Assistant who has been practicing in dermatology since 2010. She is in collaborative practice with Dr. Laura Tamburin. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in Biomedical Sciences. Dana completed her Master of Health Sciences at the University of South Alabama in Mobile where she was a member of the Alpha Eta Honor Society. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her focus of practice is medical dermatology and patient education. Dana is married with two children. She enjoys family, reading, sewing, exercise, and baking.
Kelli Heer, PA-C
Kelli Heer has been a Certified Physician Assistant for 11 years. She graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2002 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. After working as an Occupational Therapist for 7 years, she then attended PA School at the University of Alabama Birmingham, where she graduated with a Masters Degree in Surgical Physician Assistant Studies in 2011. Kelli now has 5 years of experience in dermatology with a focus on medical dermatology in pediatric and adult patients. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners. Kelli is a member of the Alabama Society of Dermatology Professionals. In her free time, Kelli enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and is an active member of Westgate Church of Christ.
